Know where you will vote.
Election morning is no time to go looking for your queue. Find your polling unit now, plan your trip, and walk in like you have been there before.
Your vote lives at one address.
In Nigeria you vote at the polling unit where you registered, and nowhere else.
Turn up at the wrong one and no one on the day can move you to the right one. Too many people lose a whole morning walking between schools and market squares, card in hand, only to be told they are in the wrong place.
This site exists so that person is not you, your mother or your neighbour. Search once, save your unit code, and let election day be about voting.
Three things to do before the big day
None of them takes long. All of them save you stress.
-
Find your unit
Choose your state and local government, then search by ward or unit name. Write the code down somewhere safe.
-
Check your card
Your Permanent Voter Card (PVC) is your ticket in. No card, no vote, so make sure you have collected yours.
-
Plan your trip
Open the map, note one landmark and decide how you will get there. Aim to arrive before the queue does.
Election day, step by step
Know what happens at your unit so nothing catches you off guard. Tap a stage to read it.
Pack your card, then sleep.
Put your Permanent Voter Card in your bag next to your phone and a bottle of water. Look up your polling unit one last time and save the code. Charge your phone, then go to bed. Tomorrow starts early.
Rules can change between elections. Always follow the instructions of INEC officials on the day.
Get ready, then stay ready
Set your date, tick things off and watch the countdown turn into a plan.

Myth or fact? Tap a card to find out
Four things people say about voting, and what is actually true.
Say it. Stamp it. Do it.
I will find my polling unit, collect my card and vote. Then I will bring two people with me.
Stamp yours, then get two people to stamp theirs.
